Hey @vulogov, in my experience with the BRCK getting reliable internet access through these portals is a little tricky.
My BRCK will easily connect to their open wifi. It might automatically open the login page, but often it might not. However, if you know the URL you can still navigate there (on your device connected to the BRCK's network) to log on.
Here is the crux: My BRCK will try to validate its connection to the internet as soon as it is connected to the wifi, but if you are not ninja-fast to open the correct page and log-in, the BRCK will time-out, disconnect from the wifi and start trying the SIM, etc. It will of course try to reconnect to the wifi afterwards again and thus the loop is closed.
So while it is possible to connect, you need to be very fast and it is comes in handy if you have already copied complicated passwords into your clipboard...
@rufus It would be good if the user could tell the BRCK that they are logging in on a portal page and that it should suspend the search for an internet connection for a while.
